The Shelf Life of Food [infographic].
Interesting find from my cousin. I found that ever since I’ve moved out here in DC, produce just does not last as long as they did in California. Even when I put everything in the fridge, in the crispers, all towards the bottom where it is the coldest, things just spoil faster. I guess I never considered the traveling time it takes for that avocado, tomato, cauliflower or watercress to come all the way to here on the East Coast.
